Hi, I'm Kayla.
I've been a graphic designer all my life. As a kid, it meant editing photos and making birthday cards. As an adult, it's taken me places like print shops, outdoor adventure companies, churches and most recently, into the broadcast & animation world.
I graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design. By day, I work at Bayside Church as the lead Graphic Designer at our central campus in Granite Bay. By night, I offer my design skills to organizations I'm passionate about in the community.
My mission as a designer is to bring enjoyment to people and get them excited about something important. Important can be somewhat vague at times but essentially I want my designs to cause people to care, go somewhere, or simply smile! Getting people excited is my favorite way to get a message across.
Outside of my passion for design, I have a love for the outdoors, tea, cooking, and my husband. I always have a cup of tea in hand, am creating something new in the kitchen, or looking for new trails in Northern California to hike or ride my mountain bike on!
